called the person engaged is hereby appointed a Nurse in the Government Cevil Hospital of Hong Kong upon

following terms and conditions.

The person engaged shall as soon as required procad to Hong Kong and on her arrival there will be placed under the orders of the Superintendent of the "Hospital and her dukes, will consist, among others of those

specified in the unnecced paper of parkculars

3. The term of engagement shall be for five years but the Government shall have power at any time to terminate it upon giving to the person engaged three months notice in writing or paying. her a sum equal to three months salary in lies of such notice and providing her with a free passage home.

The salary to be paid to the person engaged shall be at the rate of Forty dollars ($40) per monsom;

arising by yearly increments of Ton dollars ($10) per mensem to -Sixty dollars ($60) per mensem with furnished quarters bourd, and attendance and uniform. Half salary will commence from date of leaving England and full salary from the date of arrival in the Colony
